Is it too late to do anything if my loved one is already in a nursing home?
Folks come to our office every week, after mom or dad or spouse has had to go into a nursing home and they often times assume that it’s too late but they’re just hoping that they might be wrong. And most of the time they are wrong, most of the time it’s not too late, we can almost always put a plan in place even after your loved ones are in the nursing homes, we can take steps to make sure that if there’s a spouse that needs to be protected, we can protect their home, and most all of their savings for the spouse that’s not in the nursing home. And in the case that they have a single individual we can almost always protect the home and a majority of their savings.
