What if some family members are not from the area and can’t all come into the office for an appointment?
That’s not a problem at all. But we do encourage the kids to come with the parents to get as much of the family in on the initial consultation as possible. It’s not uncommon that they have family members that are spread out across the country, and we’ll simply bring in those remote family members by a conference call so everybody can call into the same number, conference rooms have conference phones in them, so we could include 2, 3, 4, 5 family members from around the country in the conference via a conference phone and that way everybody that wants to take part of the conversation and add their two cents.
