Nathan Ziegler

Nathan Ziegler founded Ziegler Estate Law Group, formerly Nathan Ziegler & Associates, as West Texas’s first full-service asset protection, elder law, and estate planning firm. Based in Lubbock, the firm helps families and business owners gain peace of mind by protecting their loved ones, preserving their legacies, and ensuring their assets pass safely to the right hands.

Nathan and his team create customized plans for each client using specialized tools such as wealth protection trusts, business asset protection structures, estate plans, Medicaid long-term care planning, and Special Needs Trusts.

Nathan earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University and his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Elder Law and Estate Planning from Western New England University School of Law. He is a member of the Texas Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and is accredited by the Veterans Administration.

Nathan and his wife, Sondra, are featured speakers on topics related to planning for the second half of life. Married for 31 years, they have three children. In his free time, Nathan enjoys hunting, fly fishing, and listening to classic country music—not the new stuff. He and Sondra love spending time with their children and grandchildren.
