Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water (slurry)
Chopped parsley and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and ginger.
Marinate the Salmon: Place salmon fillets in a dish, pour marinade over, and let sit for 15 minutes.
Cook the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sear salmon for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from the pan.
Make the Glaze: Pour the marinade into the pan, bring to a simmer, and stir in the cornstarch slurry. Cook until thickened.
Glaze and Serve: Return salmon to the pan, coat with glaze, and cook for 1-2 more minutes. Garnish with parsley and sesame seeds. Serve warm.
